  1. Do you want to compete for your school and test your knowledge on a wide variety of topics? Scholastic Bowl will be starting soon!  For more information, see Mrs. Hand or Mrs. Gorges
  2. There will be a student council meeting today from 3:00 - 3:30pm
  3. Attention all Advisory, Resource, and music classes! Our next Door Dec contest is in full swing! Black History month is approaching quickly, and we are looking for entries to win a special treat. This year’s theme is Innovating Excellence: Honoring Black Inventors in 2025. Follow the theme by January 31 to be entered to win!
  4. 8th grade students please remember to get your graduation forms and money turned into the office asap.  
  5. Track sign ups will begin Monday on SNAP.  Make sure you have an updated sports physical on file.  
  6. Attention EL students, ACCESS testing will begin Monday, January 27th. Most students will take the test during advisory with Mrs. Winkel. Those students who do not see Mrs. Winkel will take the test separately. Sixth and seventh grade students who do not see Mrs. Winkel will see her on Tuesday, January 28th starting second hour. Eighth grade students who do not see Mrs. Winkel will see her on Wednesday, January 29th starting second hour. Anyone who does not complete the test on their assigned day, will finish on Thursday, January 30th starting second hour. This is for students not in Mrs. Winkel’s advisory.  Advisory students or students with advisory the same hour as Mrs. Winkel will take the test in four sessions over four days during advisory time starting Monday.  All EL students should try their best to be at school all next week, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a good breakfast.
  7. There will be a 7th grade Math Team meeting on Monday, January 27th after school

2. There will be a Student Council meeting tomorrow from 3:00 - 3:30pm

3. Choir students should report to the choir room at 8:45am today for their performance trip

  1. 8th grade students, please be sure to return your graduation form and payment by January 31st to ensure diplomas and graduation gowns are delivered on time.  
  2. Peer Mediators will be meeting during lunches today.  8th graders will be in Mrs. Nutter’s office, 7th graders will meet in the conference room, and 6th graders will meet in Mrs. Mrowicki’s room.
  3. Students are reminded that breakfast food must remain in the cafeteria. If you are late, you are still welcome to eat lunch; however, it must be eaten in the cafeteria.
